The Skaven have been out for a few days now, and I've managed to get a couple of games in with my own horde.

First game was against Skaven, and while I didn't win I had a good time with it. In my first turn my warlock engineer inflicted massive damage on the enemy, first using Scorch to burn fourteen plague monks into oblivion, then frying three globadiers with Warp Lightning, then set off his doomrocket and obliterated sixteen clanrats!

Unfortunately, it went downhill from there. The enemy doomwheel ran over my abomination without pause, and the plague priest decimated my stormvermin with his dirty armour ignoring spells. Not well at all...

Second game was against Dark Elves, and my luck didn't exactly improve. The hydra went claw to claw with the abomination and came out on top (not to mention frenzied), and my rat ogres failed to put a sufficient dent in the cold one knights. The engineer did okay, but having the doomrocket fall short didn't help. Ended in another loss.

In true Skaven fashion, I blame the Council of Thirteen. They're obviously jealous and that's why they keep sending me inferior warriors! I'll have to bargain with Throt for some decent rat ogres.
